Of all the legendary stories in the world of Night Ranger, one of the earliest and most fascinating is the story of how the band was named. Originally the band was named “Ranger” and performed for almost 2 years under that name. Then the band and management saw there was a country band already touring the United States by the name “The Rangers”. Knowing that there could be copyright issues, the band had to change its name. And from that point on, the band that we love has been called Night Ranger!
