Josh, Brent, and Andy interview David Lauser from Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas Band!!
David shares more stories of Fitz and the guys in Night Ranger! He also reveals that he once auditioned for Damn Yankees! We also discuss the forming of the band Alliance with Fitz.
Recorded before the death of Eddie Van Halen, David tells of playing clubs on the same bill as Van Halen and performing with Eddie and Sammy during Farm Aid ’85. He also discusses recording the Sammy Hagar album “I Never Said Goodbye” with Eddie and Sammy.
David’s old counterpart, Greg Eckler, joins us in the middle of the interview to share stories and reminisce about the music scene when they were both at the beginning their careers (sadly, Greg passed not long after this recording).
